Her post continued: ‘Every time. Welcome to another chapter of the system is well in place,’ and added a broken heart emoji.

The singer is saying the system didn’t work because Diddy likely shelled out money to end the lawsuit and the slew of bad press it was sure to bring him.

Aubrey’s post also included an image of a news article highlighting the fact that three former protégées of Diddy’s have spoken out about the allegations and lightning fast settlement.

On Thursday, Combs was accused of rape and repeated physical abuse by Cassie.

The suit laid out how he allegedly controlled and abused Cassie for over a decade – as well as plying her with drugs, beating her and forcing her to have sex with multiple male prostitutes while he watched and recorded.

The former couple met in 2005 when she was aged 19 and split in 2018. The lawsuit claimed that just before the end of their relationship, he forced his way into her home and raped her.

Although no dollar amount was attached to Cassie’s lawsuit, Diddy’s attorney Ben Brafman claimed that she had requested a $30 million payment from the mogul.

‘For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail,’ Brafman said in a statement.

‘Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’ reputation and seeking a pay day.’

In a separate statement to DailyMail.com, Brafman stressed that Diddy’s settlement did not necessarily indicate ‘wrongdoing’ on his part.

‘Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs‘ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims,’ the lawyer explained. ‘He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.’

O’Day competed on Diddy’s ‘Making the Band 3’ in 2005 and was chosen to join the girl group Danity Kane under the music executive’s Bad Boy Records label.

However, he kicked her out during the final Making the Band 4 episode in October 2008.

The singer claimed in December that she was fired because she ‘wasn’t willing to do what was expected of [her] — not talent-wise, but in other areas.’

O’Day added she was ‘the only girl that was in those types of positions’.

O’ Day has spoken out about Diddy’s unwanted sexual advances over the years. She said she always rebuffed him and also alleged that the It’s All About the Benjamins singer was involved in shady businesses.

In another Instagram Story, O’Day wrote: ‘Truth is a sword, and it’s mighty. Your story and contributions to the gladness of others is a truly invisible and far sphering shield.

‘Be as clear as you can through the impulses and subvert the past patterns of losing to your anxiety just because it made you more digestible to survive,’ she continued.

‘Sometimes the danger is Real, and the evidence is that you’re bound to be Victorious is Realer.’
